Help - ZoneMinder Settings

These settings tell MythQML where to access the ZoneMinder's API and what user and password to use.

Note MythQML will us ZoneMinder API to access the data it requires so no database access is required but you do need to setup ZM to allow access to the API.

Settings

ZoneMinder Server IP

The IP address of the ZoneMinder server (eg. 192.168.1.123).

Default is blank

ZoneMinder User Name

This is the user name to use to access the API. (eg. admin)

Default is blank

ZoneMinder Password

This is the password to use to access the API (eg. password).

Default is blank

Keys used on this screen

  • UP/DOWN/LEFT/RIGHT (Arrow Keys) Move the cursor within edits and move the highlight

  • RED (F1) Cancel any changes then exit the screen

  • GREEN (F2) Save your settings and exit the screen.

  • BLUE (F4) Show this help web page.

    My settings didn't save

    You must click on the Save button or press GREEN (F2) to save your settings.

    None


    TODO

    The API does not sent out any notifications like when an alarm is activated. Find a way to push notification to MythQML.
